splashing, shaved ice and swimming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One could spend a long time in St. Louis before\u00a0boredom set in. \u00a0We have one day left in this city and so decided to check out a sculpture and splash park in downtown called City Garden. \u00a0Dacen was in a funk and really didn&#8217;t want to do anything but once we got to the park and he saw the splash area he cheered right up and had a lot of fun with the other two. \u00a0It was super hot but we stayed cool in the shade of the trees and\/or splashing in the pools and fountains. \u00a0After a picnic lunch we explored all of the art pieces on display in the park. \u00a0They were all fun and unique so we posed and took pictures with most of them.<br \/>\n<a title=\"Rubadub dub\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!--more-->There was a candy shop that got high marks so we drove to the neighborhood where the candy shop was to check it out. \u00a0It was teeny tiny place but had lots of fun and unique candy. \u00a0They also advertised shaved ice which sounded super good given the heat outside. \u00a0So we all got ourselves an icy cold treat.<\/p>\n<p>Back home we went to the pool again where I worked and the kids played. \u00a0It was a pretty simple and low key day but one that was fun.<\/p>\n<div id=\"flickr_72157670032092936_3106\"><div
