\u00a0Its not Thanksgiving! \u00a0At least its not the official holiday we call Thanksgiving but any day is a good day for giving thanks and today seemed like a good day to shout out some thanks!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Thank you Lord that I&#8217;m alive. \u00a0For building me with a heart that knows how to beat, lungs that know how to breathe, cells that know how to multiply and hair that knows how to grow (just not <strong>where<\/strong> to grow)! \u00a0Thank you for our safety and the freedom to travel the USA and get a taste of so many different parts of your creation.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you family back home for cheering us on, storing our stuff, handling our mail and\u00a0being some of our few but loyal\u00a0blog readers. \u00a0We miss you very much and love you even more.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you friends back home for staying in touch by phone, text, Facebook, email or through the blog. \u00a0Its nice to have that taste of home every once in awhile.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to our neighbors on the road for being our surrogate neighborhood: \u00a0Glenn and Melinda, the Longneckers, Mike and Pat, Doug, Hal and Peggy and many whos names we didn&#8217;t get.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you random people who have helped us along the way: \u00a0Fort Davis library lady, Mr Lopez, guy in the WWII museum parking lot, Ranger Josh.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you family and friends who have taken time to visit with us as we journey through your area or crash your vacations: \u00a0Bill and Karen (twice!), Hollis and Rae, Sidney, and the Boyinks.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Stephanie for agreeing to this adventure and for working so hard to make it happen and to make us feel at home wherever we park. \u00a0Thank you also for being strong when I was weak and not letting me give up on this dream.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Caden for your haikus, your humor, for playing games with me and for letting us take you away from friends and soccer for a season.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Dacen for being inquisitive and always ready to explore and gather new info and stats. \u00a0Thank you for letting us take you away from robotics and soccer for a season.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Brielle for your endless optimism and hugs, your encouragement, your creativity and your willingness to try new things. \u00a0Thank you for letting us take you away from your many friends back home for a season.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Coastal Oaks Church, First Baptist of Carrabelle, Crystal River United Methodist, Life Pointe Church of Homestead and New Life Christian Fellowship of Port St. John for so warmly welcoming us into your worship times.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Ava for being a dependable trailer that has really come to feel like home.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Beast for a clean bill of health at your last checkup and oil change&#8230;despite our rocky beginning you have grown on me and have done a stellar job of pulling Ava wherever we steer you.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to my clients who give me the opportunity to work on really cool stuff and to do it from wherever my office is for the day.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Lord for every person and thing listed above&#8230;you are the source of all these amazing blessings.<\/p>\n<p>PS. \u00a0Is it just me, or did you hear Jimmy Fallon thank you note writing music in the background as you read through those?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What?
