After our full day of riding rides at the Magic Kingdom<\/a>, we had a rest day on Wednesday (“brilliant mom!”). On Thursday it was off to the Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando for the boys. We went on basically every thrill ride there was, and some of them were absolutely genius. Oooh goody! Here comes another haiku!<\/p>\n

\nWe spent some big bucks<\/p>\n

So we could have tons of fun<\/p>\n

The whole park was great but my favorite place was Harry Potter Land. It was Hogsmeade and Hogwarts and the place was incredibly built and the castle was insanely impressive. We got butterbeer ice cream which was very good though a bit too sweet after awhile, rode all four of the rides, ate dinner there (I had a shepherds pie. Fish and chips for Dacen and Papa.) Then we went to Honeydukes which is a Harry Potter sweet shop. There were Every Flavour Beans, Acid Pops, Fizzing Whizzbees, Exploding Bonbons, Fudge Flies, and the ever popular Chocolate Frogs. I got the Fudge Flies and a Chocolate Frog and we split a Cauldron Cake which consists of six types of chocolate. It was delicious. Outside of Hogsmeade we rode a lot of rides, just not the kiddie ones, and watched a couple of shows. I also really liked Toon Town which we explored more at the end of the day. It had these thought\/speech bubbles that you could take pictures with that said something like or maybe here are some more funny pictures.
